Paul Heighway (ARB:040422E) studied architecture at the Polytechnic of North London and was elected to the RIBA in 1973. He worked for a number of practices in London including Powell and Moya before relocating to Devon and forming the partnership of Baldock Benns and Heighway in 1978. Subsequently a director of BBH Chartered Architects Ltd., Paul co-founded Heighway Field Associates with Andrew Field in 1996. Paul is a member of the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings and an Approved Inspector of the Exeter Diocesan Advisory Committee for the Care of Churches.

Andrew Field (ARB:048913A) studied architecture at North East London Polytechnic and was elected to the RIBA in 1983. He worked for a number of practices in London before joining BBH Chartered Architects, Torquay, as a director in 1989. He co-founded Heighway Field Associates with Paul Heighway in 1996, becoming Principal in 2008. In addition to responsibility for general management of the Practice, he also leads the affordable housing sector portfolio and instigates many private residential development projects.

Tim Williamson (ARB:061464E) studied architecture at Bath University and was elected to the RIBA in 1997. He has been an associate, and latterly senior associate since the founding of Heighway Field Associates in 1996, having previously worked for a number of local practices including Devon County Architect’s Department. He has been instrumental in developing the Practice’s work involving sensitive contemporary solutions to development within the context of historic building environments.

Ross Anderson (ARB:071498D) studied architecture at Greenwich and Oxford Brookes Universities and was elected to the RIBA in 2006. He joined Heighway Field Associates in 2002 becoming an associate in 2008.

Marc Crellen studied architectural technology at Huddersfield University and became a chartered member of CIAT in 2008. He joined Heighway Field Associates in 2003 becoming an associate in 2008.
