Practice Statement.
Working predominantly within the South West peninsula, although occasionally also further a field, HEIGHWAY FIELD ASSOCIATES is a broad based Practice which has accumulated significant design experience and technical expertise undertaking a wide range of PROJECTS currently ranging in value from around £100,000 to £8M.
The Practice is active across many sectors including Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Leisure, Refurbishment, Retail, Educational, Ecclesiastical and Healthcare. A particular specialism involves interventions within highly sensitive contexts of both an urban and rural nature as well as the conversion, rejuvenation and expansion of historic buildings, including many Listed ones. The Practice has gained wide experience of resolving complex planning issues within numerous environmentally sensitive areas of the locality. In the conservation field we have wide experience of traditional building materials and their use.
We have direct experience working within the frame work of Lottery funded and other grant aided community projects as well as working in conjunction with various public bodies. A similar breadth of experience exists in terms of procurement, ranging from the traditional ‘Full Service’ to ‘Design and Build’ and ‘Partnering’ arrangements.
Our client base includes Private Individuals and Businesses, Developers, Housing Associations, Local Authorities, Hoteliers, Medical Surgeries, Healthcare Trusts, Community Organisations and Parochial Church Councils. We have held RIBA Chartered Practice status since 2007 and are included on the Constructionline Approved List of Consultants, (Ref.no.18965).
